It is my honor to serve as the principal of Blue Heron Elementary and to be part of such an outstanding school community. At Blue Heron, we believe every child deserves to feel safe, valued, challenged, and inspired each day. Our dedicated teachers and staff work together to create a positive learning environment where students grow academically, socially, and emotionally. Survey data from our students, families, and staff consistently reflects the strong sense of community and positive school climate we strive to maintain.
We are committed to helping every student discover their strengths, develop a lifelong love of learning, and build the confidence needed to succeed both in and beyond the classroom. Through engaging instruction, meaningful relationships, and high expectations, we empower our students to reach their fullest potential. We also encourage and celebrate our schoolwide 3Rs—being Ready, Responsible, and Respectful in every setting.
Strong partnerships with families are essential to our success. We know that students thrive when schools and families work together, and we encourage parents and caregivers to stay connected through regular communication with our staff and participation in the many events and opportunities offered by our school and PTO.
